Chef Mike came to the Five Hour Energy studio on Monday, March 26th and rustled up some pulled beef sandwiches for the group. They were succulent. The boys from Lou Dawgs Southern Sandwiches dropped by the Five Hour Energy Studios on March 22nd to feed Humble and Fred who were somewhat hungover. Pulled Pork, chicken and beef brisket. lovely cole slaw and zesty potato salad - all of it ended up down the front of Humble and Fred's shirts. There was also a bottle of Honey Jack involved. Humble and Fred say despite their losing bid to acquire Astral Media, "it's business as usual" in south Etobicoke. Humble and Fred's bid of $48.00 a share fell just short of the winning offer of $50.00 by Bell Media. "We'll look for other opportunities" said Humble."That's right" added Fred, "Maybe we'll take a stab at Corus and see where that takes us."
